permet de conduire l\u2019eau chaude g\u00e9othermale
jusqu\u2019en surface, puis l\u2019eau est renvoy\u00e9 dans le
m\u00eame aquif\u00e8re par le puits injecteur.

En surface dans la centrale g\u00e9othermique,
l\u2019eau g\u00e9othermale pomp\u00e9e c\u00e8de sa chaleur
\u00e0 travers un \u00e9changeur thermique au fluide
d\u2019un r\u00e9seau de chaleur. A la sortie de
l\u2019\u00e9changeur, l\u2019eau g\u00e9othermale refroidie est
r\u00e9inject\u00e9e dans l\u2019aquif\u00e8re d\u2019origine.
L\u2019ensemble de ce circuit cr\u00e9e une boucle
g\u00e9othermale primaire. Si la temp\u00e9rature
de la ressource n'est pas adapt\u00e9e \u00e0 l'usage
pr\u00e9vu, on peut avoir recours \u00e0 une pompe

ram\u00e8nent le fluide refroidi \u00e0 la centrale

La g\u00e9othermie profonde consiste en la valorisation de ressources g\u00e9othermales pr\u00e9sentes dans des aquif\u00e8res, c\u2019est-\u00e0-dire des formations rocheuses perm\u00e9ables dans lesquels circule de l\u2019eau, situ\u00e9s entre 400 et 2 500 m de profondeur. Dans le cas de la production de chaleur, son exploitation repose sur un doublet de forages constitu\u00e9 d\u2019un puits de production et d\u2019un puits de r\u00e9injection.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Dans le cas de la production d\u2019\u00e9lectricit\u00e9, l\u2019eau g\u00e9othermale capt\u00e9e par forage arrive en surface sous la forme d\u2019un m\u00e9lange d\u2019eau et de vapeur d\u2019eau. Les deux phases sont alors s\u00e9par\u00e9es et la vapeur est introduite dans une turbine pour produire de l\u2019\u00e9lectricit\u00e9. En France, deux exploitations existent. Il s\u2019agit de celle de Bouillante (Guadeloupe) et de Soultz-sous-For\u00eats (Bas Rhin).
